Make a stand for Him

This is the vision that the Lord showed me on 11/15/15.   I am not going to add or take away from it at all.  I believe it is very clear and lays out its meaning.    I ask simply that you seek the Lord concerning this and respond to His lead and direction as He reveals it to you. 

  I saw a mountain ridge in the east rise up high in the air and shift toward the west a bit and set back down.  As it was set down it rested on top of and crushed a great city in the central plain areas.  In the west there was a great erosion of the land that caused it to be swallowed up by the sea.   I see land turning to mud and slipping into the ocean.   This causes all of the water west of the mountain, in the plains area, to drain out of the land and into the ocean.  The land became dry and parched and crops would not not grow there.  

The Lord then spoke to me and said "unless my people begin to turn and take a stand for me this will be allowed to happen to the land".   If this is to occur it will be because of the refusal of Gods people to hear His voice take a hard stand for Him

Different Angles

He is speaking.  Are you listening?  For several years now the true prophets of God have been silent concerning things to come that will effect this generation.   To be honest with you I do not know why.   There may be many reasons.  It may be because God has not released them to speak.  It may be that they stopped speaking because people would not listen to the word of the Lord when it was released.  In some cases the older prophets died and those who were called to fill their office have not stepped up or were not yet ready to step up.  Whatever the reason the voices of the office of the prophet have been quiet or not received. Yes, there have been pockets of prophetic voices and the spirit of the prophetic is strong in some areas.   What I am referring to is the silence of the prophets, who are called by God into the office of a prophet, concerning global, continental, and country related events.

On 2/3/2015 I released a word in which the Lord is calling on the prophetic voices to begin to utter and verbalize what He is speaking.  God is calling for the prophets to release the word so that it can be available to be fulfilled for this generation.  The utterance of the prophet commands that which God is calling forth to begin to exist even if in the form of thought and idea.   What I released can be found at this link if you are interested in reading it.  http://1412ministries.blogspot.com/2015/02/speak-to-this-generation.html.  

God has begun speaking through different prophetic voices.  The word of the Lord is now beginning to be released through the mouth of the prophets again.  The question is this, are you listening?  Do you know what God is speaking and releasing?

On 8/18 I released another word that the Lord spoke to me.  It was a warning and a call to interceded in prayer.   http://1412ministries.blogspot.com/2015/08/now-is-time-to-intercede.html.  Since that time I have encountered 3 other strong prophetic voices, who over time have proven their reliability in releasing His word.  These three voices are of men who I have watched and learned from for many years and whom have proven themselves when speaking prophesy.  They have, at a similar time, released words that address similar issues.  Each person spoke of similar subjects and addressed them from a different angle than the other.   It is as though each person saw different pieces to the same warning.   This is similar to 4 individuals looking at the same lion at a zoo and describing it.  One will talk of his head and main.   Another might talk of his strong lean body.   Another may speak of the color of his fur while the last may speak of his roar.   All are describing the same animal but from different view points.  Here are links to some of what they had to say.

The point is this.  Multiple prophetic voices are now speaking the same thing.  It is clear that God is speaking something that He wants His people to hear and understand.   In this post I have given links to some of what has been said but have not told you what the Lord is speaking for a reason   That reason is simply this.   If you are not willing to hear what the Lord is saying then it will not matter what I say or what others have said because you do not want to hear it.   I posted the links so that those who are hungry for God can go hear what He is saying and seek God for themselves.   In seeking God you will begin to see the voice of the Lord come in clearly and you will begin to tap into what He is saying.   If you seek God then He will reveal the lion through the descriptions from the different angles.

Now more than ever it is important that you seek the Lord.   That you hear the Lord.  That you are hungry for His word.  Seek Him with all that you have and respond to Him when He speaks to you.  

Now Is The Time To Intercede

The Lord has been pressing me to release two recent visions that He has shown me concerning the United States.  While these visions stand alone individually I also believe that they have the potential to be intertwined and connected.   I am going to simply type out the visions as they occurred and type out what the Lord spoke to me as I saw them.   Please keep in mind brothers and sisters in the Lord that these are not guaranteed events to occur.   They are visions or glimpses of one possible occurrence of future event.  They are glimpses of what could happen should other decisions and events be made to lead to them.  I believe the Lord has asked me to release them so that a given few who understand these things may begin to seek the Lord to ask Him to intervene.   

This first vision occurred on 8/9/15.   As I sought the Lord He spoke to me that He is bringing the U.S. To a decision.   I then in the spirit saw the next presidential election.  I saw a great battle between two parties.   The Lord spoke to me and said that one side will seek to fulfill its flesh and worldly desires in every way possible and the other side will have the ability to hear the Lord.  (This is not to say that He always is or will).   The Lord said that one party will lead away from Him and the other will curve back toward Him.    I then saw that the one side that ran on a platform of self fulfillment and flesh was a woman.   She had shorter grey and brown hair that had been died a blondish brown color.  She wore a red dress suit with a skirt.   The other party I can see is defiantly a male but I can not identify who he resembles.   In the woman candidate there was much anger, hatred, and she listed after power.  The Lord spoke and said that she carries a strong Jezabel spirit and should she win the office then that Jezabel spirit will be released through the nation.  True prophets and true men of God would be hunted and destroyed by her by any means.  The Lord then again reminded me that He is giving America a clear choice and the people must decide for or against Him.

I was then reminded of the vision I had on 7/25/15 which was as follows.  

I asked the Lord concerning the USA.   Before me I saw a map of the U.S.   I saw from Washington a black ink oozing out from under the government buildings into the natural underground water path ways.  The ink spread and covered the entire water grid of the eastern half of the U.S. map.   The ink substance went into the natural under surface water system and underground tunnels and flowed to every inch of US soil.   It surfaced on the western half and every state began to turn a grayish black.  The ink reached a tall thick tree located on the center of the map.   The tree had roots that reached every state and the branches and leaves covered all of the U.S.  As the ink reached the tree it (the tree) began to slowly die.   As it died back the leaves fell and the dry gray branches no longer produced a covering over the states.   I then saw the hand of the Lord pull back away from the tree, away from covering the U.S.  The Lord spoke and said "if this country continues on a path against my people (against Israel) and fully turn against them then I will remove my covering and protection.   No longer will the land be blessed and protected but rather cursed and baron in ruins".  Again I saw a map of the U.S. and in the East I saw the eastern states turn black and the coastline overtook the land.   In the south the coast shrank and death rose and the land was shrunk.   On the west coast water shrank the coast and parts of California slipped in a landslide into the ocean.   The three boarders of the U.S. drastically shrank and her power was greatly diminished.   

As I stated at the beginning, I believe each of these visions can stand individually on their own but I also believe they are connected as well.   As I mentioned these visions are not given to occur but they are enough of a possibility that God has revealed them to us as a warning.   I urge any who prayer over such things to begin to intercede.  Brothers and sisters I urge you to seek the Lord to intervene.

Hot, Cold or Vomit

I posted this bible challenge about a month ago.   I have had several people ask me about the answer so I am finally getting around to writing this blog.  My challenge was this.  According to the historical context what is the meaning of Rev 3:15-16 "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (NIV)?

To find the meaning of this verse we must look at the historical context.  In this verse it plays a vital role in the meaning.   I would encourage anyone who is looking up scripture to determine its meaning to make sure to read the surrounding verses if not the whole chapter as well as to research the historical meaning.   The importance and meaning of the historical context of a verse is well explained by gotquestions.org this way. "It's important to study Bible passages and stories within their context. Taking verses out of context leads to all kinds of error and misunderstanding. Understanding context begins with four principles: literal meaning (what it says), historical setting (the events of the story, to whom is it addressed, and how it was understood at that time), grammar (the immediate sentence and paragraph within which a word or phrase is found) and synthesis (comparing it with other parts of Scripture for a fuller meaning). Context is crucial to biblical exegesis in that it is one of its most important fundamentals."

Over the years I have heard many preachers and teachers use Revelations 3:15-16 to show how much God detests our lukewarm apathetic commitment to Him.  In this there is truth.  Unfortunately I have often heard this verse quoted and then followed up with statements presenting that God would rather us all for Him or all against Him than to be on the fence and undecided.  While this sounds good to the ears it is not actually what the scripture means when it refers to being hot or cold as compared to lukewarm.

Digging into the scripture we find that Jesus was speaking to an audience in Laodicia.  This city was located between Heiropolis and Colossae which were known for having pure waters that flowed out of them. Heiropolis had a spring that produced pure hot water.  Colossae had a spring of pure cold water from the mountains. Laodicia was known for its lukewarm dirty water that visitors to the city would immediately spit out of their mouths upon taking a drink.

In light of this historical and regional context we now can begin to understand that Christ is not saying that He wants us to be all for Him or all against Him.   We find that He is actually saying that He wants us pure and useful to Him otherwise we will be rejected or discarded "spit" as dirty and useless.  If you know scripture at all you know that our purity can not come from within us but came through the cross and His sacrifice to pay for the price required by our sin.

I hope that this blog has been helpful in revealing the understanding of the meaning of Revelations 3:15-16.   I again would encourage everyone to seek out the full context, historical/regional background, and audience being addressed when reading through scripture.

How do you respond to what God lays before you?

     I write this blog not from a place of knowing best but rather from a place of a man who God is challenging to come closer to Him.   I like many of you am facing a choice of how to handle what the Lord has revealed to me about me.  It is from this position that this is posted...

     How do you handle what is set before you?  What do you do when the Lord comes to you and pulls back a layer of yourself and reveals something to you about yourself that you did not know was there?  Something deep.  Something not as beautiful as your exterior polished self.  Something in you that may be keeping you from getting closer to Him or that might keep you from fulfilling your destiny.  What do you do with that?

     Many of us will and often have pushed these things down deeper, or attempt to sweep it off to the side and ignore its presence.   Some try to push past it hoping that it will disappear in the past as they push forward.   This is the natural human response to such things.   Often it is our go to response.  Even in the non spiritual side of things we find this response in our human nature.  When someone comes to you and says you did x,y,z  our first response is to blurt out "no I didn't" before we even hear what x,y,z is.   Who likes to be told that they did something wrong or missed something right in front of them?   No one.   The problem is that this never works.  When God brings up an issue or reveals something and we push past it, deny it, or ignore it then it does not magicly disappear.  We actually will find that over time we will again circle back to deal with that very same thing.   If we do not face it the next time then around the same circle we go again.   Some have been stuck on that same circular holding pattern for most of their lives.   We can't progress very far foreword if we keep looping back to the same place over and over.   

     I am so thankful that God does not pull back layers and reveal things to us in the same manner that man does.   Man often comes to us out of a position of finding fault and does so with the intent to tear us down and build themselves up.  God on the other hand reveals things to us so that we can go to a deeper more intimate place in our walk with Him.   The pain caused by mans approach is often enough of keep us from wanting to face what has been revealed to us by God.

     Another response to a revelation of something within us is to do just that.  To face it head on.  This approach will often be painful and require courage.   It may require us to be vulnerable and  find someone to walk through it with us.   It may require time and commitment, accountability, uncomfortable self sacrifice and dying to our own will and desire.   This path is not fun to look at and is tough to swallow.  When the Lord reveals something to us He does so out of love and is there to walk with us through it.   If we are willing to turn and face whatever it may be then the Lord will be there with us.  He does not pull back a layer and reveal something deep with in us to bring pain but so that we may be closer to Him and go further in accomplishing the destiny that He has placed before us.  Scripture says it like this.   "They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." (Hebrews 12:10-11 NIV)

     What will you do?   What will you choose?  I encourage each and every one of you to choose to face that which has been set before you.   When the Lord reveals something deep and tarnished with in you I would implore you to face it head on and with His help push through so that you may in turn become closer and more like Him.   I say to you, humble yourself before the Lord and face that which is deep in you.   The Lord believes in you enough to show you that which you did not know.   Press into Him and do not turn your face from Him.   As we each face what the Lord places before us take courage in knowing that He has revealed it because  wants a closer walk with you.  Submit yourself to the Lord and take strength from His love for you.

Speak to this generation

The Lord has finally released me to share this vision/word.  This is actually 2 visions that overlapped.  I asked the Lord to confirm that they were a part of one vision and He gave me a third vision that confirmed that they ran together.

I looked and before me was a wide desert between two high rising mountains.  The floor of the desert was covered in finely ground sand that was tan in color.  I stood with the Lord at the entrance to the desert.  He spoke to me "speak to the desert and tell this generation that it is time to stand up and come forth".  I did this and as I did my voice turned to a wind as it came out of my mouth and as it moved over the desert I saw the sand come together to form bones rise up in the shape of skeletons.  Every place the voice went a skeleton rose up.   The Lord spoke to me and said "speak to those which do not have tenders and flesh".  I did and their flesh was formed over the bones and they stood there many in number.   I knew in my spirit that I was not the only one being asked to speak so I said "Lord there others who should be speaking as well". I turned around and behind me were hundreds of prophets standing with trumpets.  A few were blowing them but many were not.  They were speaking to the bones and the voices sounded like trumpets.   I expected to hear a large blast but the sound was muted because so few blew when told to.   I asked the Lord why so few blew their trumpets.  He instructed me to look again.  When I did I saw that some of the trumpets were old and rusty and would not work.  Some of the trumpets were shinny and new and so the prophet did not want to blow on it and make it dirty.  Some were missing parts and others were donated and dinged and had no luster to them.  The Lord then spoke this to my spirit.   There are many great and amazing things that He is about to do but He is waiting on the prophets to release the word into the air and then He will anoint and work through the very breath of the prophets.  He then said that not many are what He is saying speaking because they are old and worn out, have been beaten up by the body, are afraid to prophesy and make mistakes, are to proud of their gifts and are inadequately trained.  Then told me that this is a call to the prophets to begin to speak His words in His time and call forth this generation.  To release their voice and the breath of God to this generation.
