Wake up children of God, Wake up you sleepy ones.

There is a spiritual battle coming to the US that is far beyond anything we have seen before.  Princes from another region are on the Eastern US coast waiting to attack.   There will be a lapse between when the attack begins and when the army of the Lord begins to repel the attack.   The good news is that there is no contest.  God is unequaled and the enemy will lose this battle.   What concern me is the laps in time in which the enemy will have free reign on US soil.  Man has not reached out to God and has indeed shut Him off.  Man in his stubbornness has told God I can do this on my own.   Because of this attitude in our nation and in our government the hand and protection of God has in many ways been tied back.   Until the time when the heart of man again turns to God the princes of another region will have their way in our country.   It will manifest in many ways.  In weather, natural disasters, rise in crime, rise in inability of mankind to control himself, economic destruction, riots, perversions, still births and miscarriages, and pure confusion from the top down.   Man has declined to seek God so the land and the people within will respond accordingly.  The US as a whole is not prepared for such an attack.  The men who have been filling the pulpit illegitimately have trained the person to please themselves which is leaving them helpless in the face of such a spiritual onslaught.   The men of God have been misled themselves and now things are so confusing that no one knows what is right and thus do as they see fit for themselves.  The watchmen on the coast have fallen asleep.  Some have even left their post in order to fulfill their own version of what is right.   The prophets have remained silent because to speak the true word of God would mean exile.   This is coming but it is not a given that it will occur.   If man turns and repents and again seeks the face of God it will be adverted.  That’s the catch thought.   Generations have spent their entire life seeking their own pleasure so it concerns me to see what waits off the shores of our boarders to the east.  No one is sounding the alarm and we are about to get slammed spiritually.   Wake up children of God.   Wake up from your slumber.

Eli or Elijah

Are you an Eli or an Elijah?  One is currently behind the pulpit and one is being prepared by the Lord to step up and do His bidding.    One will be removed as God begins to do something that will make the ears of all of mankind tingle.  The other will be risen up to remove that which has perverted and confused the body of Christ.  

In 1 Samuel we learn about Eli.  He and his sons ministered before the Lord.  His lineage was to minister before the Lord forever.   Eli’s sons however showed no respect for the Lord and committed many sins including defiling the sacrifice of the people thus making it unacceptable to the Lord not only for themselves but for all of the people.  When a sacrifice was being performed it was customary for the priest to come and take a fork and plunge it into the meat, once all the fat had burned off, and what he pulled back was his to take and eat.   The sons of Eli were however going and demanding their share and taking it by force before the fat had even burned off the meat yet.   The aroma that is pleasing to the Lord in the sacrifice is not the blood or the meat but the burning of the fat.   Eli’s son’s were taking that meat and thus defiling the people of a proper sacrifice that was pleasing to the Lord.  Eli knew of this and scolded his sons but he did not put an end to it.  In fact we see that Eli enjoyed the fatty meat as his portion that his sons brought back.   Because of this the Lord removed Eli and his family line from ministering before the Lord and his sons were consumed with fire and died.   We even see that when the Lord was speaking to Samuel that Eli was not hearing from God.    In fact the priest who was supposed to hear from God for the people could not figure out till the third time that God was speaking to Samuel.  

In the same way we see the Eli generation is behind the pulpit today.   Sin is being tolerated within the ministry and thus that sin is defiling the congregation, the people of God.  Many pastors know of the sins and are just ignoring them or actively hiding them so as to appear right before the Lord.   As with Eli many of these pastors and ministry leaders can no longer hear from God and in fact do not recognize when God is speaking at all.  The aroma reaching the nostrils of God from the pulpits of His church has become revolting to Him and He will no longer tolerate mans sin being allowed while ministering to Him.  This Eli generation will be removed from behind the pulpits as God prepares to do a work that will touch the hearts of all of mankind and make the ears of mankind to tingle with anticipation.    The American church particularly has been suffering from a spiritual dryness because their pastors are no longer hearing from God.  We will begin to see the sudden removal of those ministering before the Lord leaving large groups of people who will suddenly be seeking a house of worship who has something real.

 

Elijah was used by God as a prophet, bringing the on the spot word of the Lord to a confused generation.  The people had been confused by the worship of bail so much so that Gods people were unsure as to if they should worship God or bail.    During this time there were multiple prophets roaming the area.   We see in scripture that Jezebel chased away the prophets of God and in one instance over 100 prophets of God were hidden together in two different caves.   Elijah called on God and He licked up the water that was poured over the sacrifice then fire from heaven burnt up the sacrifice.  

 

This coming move of God will reveal the Elijah generation.   They will confront the Eli generation and call down fire from heaven to burn up the offering.   This coming generation will lead the move back to God,  This generation will have a strong prophetic pulling and we will see the rise of true pure prophetic voices declaring the word of the Lord based on the word of the Lord  The enemy knows this and has tried to stop it.   There has been a large increase of abortions around this generation.   Those who have been born have been raised in confusion about who God really is.  Their homes have been attacked and many are being raised in single parent homes.   I believe the Lord has shown me that we also now will begin to see an increase in still births.  This is the enemy’s last straw as he attempts to not be removed from his seat of power.  There is a generation of boys who will be birthed amidst these still births that will usher in a major move of the Living God.   So are you of Eli or of Elijah?  Whom do you serve self of God?

His Train Filled the Temple

Isaiah 6:1
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

     
I want to encourage each of you to pursue after the things of the Lord.   While things appear sluggish in the physical realm, around us there is a spiritual move of God that is coming that will blow the minds of most of the pew sitters of today’s churches.

     Isaiah speaks of the “train of His robe filled the temple”.  The train refers to the skirt of the robe.  During the time when Isaiah saw this it was common practice that when one king overtook another king that he (the conquering king) attached the overtaken king’s robe to the end or skirt of his robe.   If a king had overtaken several kings each robe would be attached to the end of the previous thus making for a long “train”.  Isaiah said that the Lord’s train filled the temple.   This is a clear indication that the Lord is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords because He has so many robes attached that they filled the temple.

     As I mentioned above, there is a move of God coming to the earth.   In this move the Lore will come with His train revealed to show and remind all of the “kings” of the earth that He is the one true God.   As in Gen 11 in the story of the tower of Babel mankind today has erected many monuments to glorify himself and make a name for himself.  Man has established himself as a king in many areas.  Man has done this in businesses, in government, as rulers of nations, as heads of the house hold, as owners of many things.   There are many others ways that could be included in how man has decided to erect a monument as a tribute to himself.  When the Lord comes during this next move through the earth He will remind those who have erected these monuments to themselves that He is the Lord of Lords.

     This being said I want to remind you that when Christ came to earth he came in a much different manner than many were expecting.   Many of the Jewish people were expecting Christ to come to establish a kingdom, crush those oppressing them, and set up a ruling kingdom as an earthly king.   Much in the same way many Christians are looking for Christ to return to smite the sinners of this earth who are in opposition to Christianity.   While I believe the Lord will return to reveal his Lordship over all in this next move I also believe that it will be done in love as it was done once before.   Christ desires that all come to know him.   He is not going to show up on earth to make the sinner in the face and say “I told you so”.  He is going to come in love to them and draw them to Himself.

     The Lord is about to move through this generation and it is going to be awesome.   The question is this.  When He appears, with His train that Isaiah saw filling the temple, will you be in place to do His bidding and draw the lost to Him or will He be here to remind you that He has already conquered your sadly erected monuments glorifying yourself?  Again I encourage you to pursue the things of the Lord and prepare to do His work here on earth.

The Fire of God

The fire of God is an interesting thing to look into during this season where some are looking for a move of God to appear and drastically change this current generation.   During many revivals in many different parts of the world at many different times a common theme arises.  Send the fire.  We see it in past and recent songs.  Such phrases as "send the fire", "revival fire fall", and "Fire of God fall on us" are just a few examples.   I often wonder though if people really understand what they are asking for.  I am all about the fire of God moving through us but I thought I should mention some things I have learned and seen along the way as well.   The big question is this.  If we are asking for the fire of God what does the fire of God do and what is it? 

In Exodus we see that a pillar of fire led the way by night.  It was a form of guidance and protection from God for His children in the desert.  The fire of God will lead us to the things of God.  It will also protect us from the traps of the enemy.  It will shed light on those things in front of us that are meant to cause us to fall.  The fire of God will also purify us.   Like a natural fire the fire of God will apply heat and cause pressure to build up in areas that need to be refined.   In the natural gold will melt under such heat and the impurities rise to the top.   In the spiritual the fire of God will apply heat, melting us, which takes us out of the man made shape so we can be formed into the shape that God needs or wants us in.  It will also cause the impurities in our lives to be brought to the surface, exposed, and sometimes painfully removed.  When we are unwilling to let those impurities be removed the purification process changes.   The fire of God can burn and scorch you.   God and sin can not cohabit and if you ask to be refined and then are unwilling to let go of the impurities it will suddenly get very hot.   In 1 Samuel we see that the sons of Eli were destroyed by God because of their unwillingness to obey God and stop scorning His sacrifice.  If we are unwilling to have the impurities removed then we become the impurities that must be removed.   I am so grateful that we serve a merciful and patient God.  That being said if we call down the fire and ask to be purified I pray that each of us is ready to give up the impurities that as humans we so often try to hold onto. 

The final thing the fire of God does in bring the power of God.   When the Holy Spirit settles into a place for a while there are often, if not always, signs and wonders.  There is a tangible sense of the power of God in a place where the Holy Spirit has settled in.   When we go through the process and the power of God comes through the Fire of God it is not for us to enjoy being empowered.  The fire of God is not for our edification.  It is for the edification of God.   The fire empowers us to proclaim the good news to the lost and broken. 

Keep in mind that the fire of God is a process.  First it leads and directs us then it purifies us and finally it empowers us to reach the lost and spread the kingdom of God.  Flame on my brothers and sisters.
